I curently live in Billings montana and play bass for Back to Ruin (old school metal/diy/stoner rock band). I maintain an online ezine that is a spin off of the print zines i did for years called Riotlandcomics Super Smash Media. Riotland is a mini comic in which i began running adds for bands that i had met and did reviews of CDs and things that interest me. I have always been interested in media, journalism and i am a magazine fanatic. i buy at least 1 a day. i also do art. I am inspired by POP art, surrealist, dadaists,modernist and low brow movements. I am a huge Warhol and Lichtenstein Fan. (i have a lichtenstien tattooed on my shoulder) I was very inspired by andy warhol's factory ideas and his writings. My dad was an art teacher and gave me a constant art education growing up ( i have been drawing things since i could hold a crayon). if there were only more time to work on art in this busy run you ass off society. I also have 2 music projects i do on my own when Back to Ruin is slow. the first is an electro/experimental project in the vein of kraftwerk, skinny puppy, europop, 80's electro, 60's lounge/soundtrack music and static-x, called "the superfight". I also do some solo playing to utilize songs i used to play in old indy and punk bands i had been in. i am currently enrolled in grad school for psychology, which is enjoyableand interesting but alot of work. i have always been into Marc bolan, Henery Rollins, ian mcay, glen danzig, iggy pop and andy warhol's factory ideas and products (velvet underground, art films)the 60's and 70's movies/music, b-movies and the "beat" movement. i am a big fan of theatrical rock n roll (shock rock, horror punk ect..) alice cooper, impaler,misfits, kiss, turbonegro (turbonegro rules) ect... some place i am found on the web http://www.geocities.com/riotlandcomics
